Stats: 19 Races | 13 Wins | 11 Poles | 5 Lap Records
Oct 20th - JDR012-2 Sets a new track record at Gateway
Charles Livingston thought the dash was reporting false lap times when in his first full session in the car he was lapping in the 59's not far off the FC lap record, from then on the lap times fell. By the time Sunday had passed he established a new FB record of 57.529!
Sept 20th - Loshak in the #2 JDR Wins the Runoffs in spectacular fashion!
The season couldn't have ended any better! Lawrence did a great job all season constantly getting quicker as he acclimated to the car and the car was tuned to his liking. The team set some new records and won a lot of races, in hindsight, we wouldn't change a thing!
A big thanks goes out to all our suppliers. The QRS guys came over from the UK to see their dampers in action on our car, now that's support! Our choice in Wilwood Brake calipers proved itself, stopping the car with flawless confidence all season long. Edge Engineering has done a fantastic job machining numerous parts for us just look at the front bulkhead! HRP supplies various off the shelf parts at competitive prices. Taylor supplies their excellent chain drive diff and other driveline components. We couldn't have had the same success without these guys!
Sept 17th - Lawrence Loshak Sets a new qualifying record at the Runoffs
On the first qualifying session in FA/FB, a nice cool morning session a gap was found in the 41 car group with two clear laps to get the job done Lawrence first turned a 2:07 and the next lap was a stunning 2:04.786! Only 1.697 seconds off the the fastest Formula Atlantic car in the session and eight tenths of a second clear of the second fastest FB time set by Jeremy Hill. This was 1.4 seconds quicker than Brandon Dixon's long standing record set in 2011!!
July 24th - JDR012-2 ready for Action!
Our second car is ready for delivery to it's proud owner. It's fitted with AIM's new standard G-dash with predictive lap timing and more display options.
July 7th - JDR and Loshak Win the East USF1000 Championship!
Having never turned a wheel at Watkins Glen before Lawrence made good use of the test day to acclimate to the course. He snatched both poles, one six tenths under the track record! We were caught out running a conservative pace on Saturday and ended up 4th after leading most of the race but followed up on Sunday with a clear win.
May 19th - JDR and Loshak secure near maximum points for rounds 5 and 6 at Atlanta
After an unusual engine failure spoiling the Friday test day for the USF1000 weekend Lawrence bounced back missing pole for Race 1 by only 2 tenths to J.R. Osborne but for the second race snatched pole! Race one was a win over Glenn Cooper putting up an early battle in his RFR and Race two was a rain shortened affair with us taking an early lead and the win.
May 5th - Loshak in a JDR set a new lap record at Blackhawk Farms!
We went to Blackhawk to get some testing in prior to the upcoming F1000 event at Atlanta. Unfortunately the Friday test day was a bust but the rest of the weekend went as planned with the setup being near spot on the first session out. Lawrence was quick straight away and we ended up close to the record on Saturday and bettered it by over three tenths on Sunday.
March 10th - Loshak pilots a JDR F1000 at the Circuit of the Americas
This was the first time Lawrence had driven the car since committing to a full season in it for 2013. After some time getting used to the car on the test day we stuck it on pole on the last lap of the qualifying session. In the end we took home a win in the first race and after getting caught out by some yellows on a restart after fighting for the win we ended up P6 in race two. A big thanks goes out to everyone involved with running the event, we'd love to do it again next year!
November 3rd - JDR and J.R. Osborne Win in FB at the ARRC!
At the 2012 ARRC event we claimed our second 1st place finish in only three race events entered. The car piloted by J.R. Osborne sat 1st in class and 3rd overall on the grid, finishing 1st in class and 2nd overall in the race. A big thanks goes out to Greg Moon for supplying reliable competitive engines, powering our car to remarkable success, and Hoosier Tire for supplying an excellent reliable tire.
We've updated the gallery a little, with pics of car number one as a roller. She weighed in quite well, much lighter than our target weight.
We have chosen QRS dampers to distribute and fit as original equipment. After looking at all options available QRS stood out on top with advantages in performance, weight, and packaging. With a strong track record in F3 and Formula Ford we look forward to using them to our advantage.
